I’m Caroline, the primary blogger on Good Doggy Guide. My partner and I adopted Poppy the rescue beagle a few years ago. She’s our first dog, so as you can imagine we’ve been on a steep learning curve!
Poppy has made us a family, lifting us up when we’re down, and keeping us on our toes. But, as with all dogs, she has her own character and her own problems. We’ve had to overcome all kinds of hurdles to bring out the best in her (and us), including helping her overcome anxiety and managing her diet.
Together we’ve become a happy family unit, discovering plenty of tricks and tips along the way. So, it seemed like a good idea to share the things we’ve learnt with other owners like us.
As well as useful advice and tips for looking after your dog, we’ll also be sharing honest reviews of products we’ve tried and tested thoroughly. We’ll share information on new products that have caught our eye and share fun features on the best dog accessories to spoil your pooch with.
We’ll also be providing you with lots of inspiration for your walkies. Dog-friendly places to visit, scenic places with plenty of good sniffing opportunities and some hidden gems.
